Bokcafé Projektil is an independent socialist book café located in the centre of Uppsala, Sweden since 2010. We offer food and pastries with good options for vegans as well as hot and cold drinks. We also maintain a wide sortiment of literature (mostly in Swedish), from dense political theory to comics and poetry.

In addition to this, we organize an abundance of cultural and educative events such as reading circles, study groups, lectures, poetry readings, debates and plenty more. Look in our calendar (”kalendarium”) to see what’s up this week (or next month)!

Right now we don’t have our own premises but instead hold our events at ABF, on S:t Persgatan 22 B. We’re usually open Thursday evenings.
